All in one piece


 Meaning:

  • When you get through something all in one piece, you get through it safely; without damage.



Example sentence:

I'm glad I got through this expedition all in one piece because it was really dangerous at times.

  1. Do you remember a situation when somebody did something really dangerous and you were thankful that they were finally all in one piece?
  2. Did you always get through things all in one piece when you were a kid?
  3. Why do you think sleepwalkers and drunk people often manage to get through dangerous situations all in one piece?
